TODAY'S USES OF RADAR
Today radar is used for aircraft warning systems in the military to warn of missiles and calculate their origin. Also, for weather forecasting, air traffic control, and to give altitudes as well as allow safe landings in any weather for aero planes and airplanes. Giving altitude was a purpose prior to the war as well. People like police even use radar to determine the speed of passing cars and automobiles. NASA also uses radar so they can map planets as well as track satellite and space debris. Even when an automatic door opens at the grocery store, they are using radar technology. Radar is used everywhere and everyday.

Air traffic control uses radar to track planes both on the ground and in
the air. It also is used to guide planes in for smooth landings.
