Fat Man & Little Boy?

These two bombs were known as "Fat Man" (top picture) and "Little Boy" (bottom picture). They were created by the United States for bombing Japan.
"LITTLE BOY"
On August 6th, 1945 code named "Little Boy" was dropped on Hiroshima. It was 140 pounds of pure uranium 235. "Little Boy" released an energy that was equivalent to 12.5 kilotons of TNT. Over thousands of people in the radius died or had major, sometimes minor, effects. Lands and waters were contaminated and ruined many peoples lives.
"FAT MAN"
On August 9th, 1945 Nagasaki had an incoming visitor known as "Fat Man" that was dropped by the United States. "Fat Man" was filled with more than 100 pounds of plutonium. This bomb had the energy equivalent to 20 kilotons of TNT. About twice as much as "Little Boy". The outcomes from the blast were very similar to those of "Little Boy". Environmental effects and people were exposed to radioactive fragments.
